Mr. Wendell Gentry, 64, of Greenfield, passed away Mar. 26, 2020.

Wendell was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Indianapolis, a son of Joy (Medford) Gentry and the late Frank Gentry. He was a 1974 graduate of Wells High School.

Wendell was a supervisor for 30 years at Dunham Rubber and Belting. In his spare time, you could find him cutting down trees and cutting up the wood. He also liked Allis Chalmers tractors.

Survivors include his son, Mitch Gentry of Clayton, IN; his mother, Joy Gentry of Lebanon; grandchildren: Wade Gentry and Jayden Keen; sisters, Leanna (Kevin) Miller of Lebanon and Melinda Smith of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews: Melissa (Ryan) Wood, Bailee and Braxton Smith, Travis (Amanda) Miller, Brandon (Jessica) Miller, and Brayton Smith.

There will be a private graveside service handled by Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
