Vivian Jane Taylor, 98, of Lebanon, passed away quietly Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Parkwood Health Care, Lebanon.

Vivian was born in Hammond, In, October 27, 1923, daughter of the late Nels and Julia (Heiser) Anderson. Vivian was married to Floyd Henry Taylor Jr. in 1944, until his death in 1991.

She had worked eleven years as a secretary for Howell County Baptist association in Missouri. Vivian was a homemaker for most of her life where she enjoyed painting with oils, acrylics and sketching as an artist.  She enjoyed making and collecting Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She also made clothes for her family, including prom and wedding dresses, and many, many quilts.

Survivors include children, Charlotte (Richard) Shearer, Melanie (Dennis) Jacobson, Dale (Karen) Taylor, Marsha (Ray) Hodge and Scott (Julie) Taylor; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Flemming.

In addition to her parents and husband, Vivian was preceded in death by siblings, Eileen Wuolle and William and Richard Anderson.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, October 20, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 858 West 250 North, Lebanon. Vivian will be laid to rest at Fowler cemetery in Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
