Suzanne Marie Kapalin, 56, of Thorntown, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, surrounded by family. She was born May 7, 1967, in Green Bay, WI, a daughter of Karen (Frye) Schipper and the late Robert Kapalin.

Suzanne had worked as an administrative assistant for Control Tech Heating and Air Conditioning for almost 20 years. She loved her kids and grandkids, along with her pets and the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include her life partner, Harold Wagner of Thorntown; children, David (Courtney) Ford of Lafayette, Jessica Indermaur of Carmel, and Erica (Greg) Frietzsche of Thorntown; mother, Karen Schipper; step-father, Steve Schipper of Colfax; brother, Drew (April) Schipper of Wabash; sister, Misty (Joe) Walsh of Columbus; and grandchildren, Spencer Ford, Jack and Nora Ford, Johan Indermaur, and one on the way, Oliver Frietzsche.

In addition to her father, Suzanne was preceded in death by her brother, David Kapalin.

Family and friends will gather Monday, July 31, for visitation from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Suzanne will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
