Sue Ann Millis, 66, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021.

Susie was born Dec. 12, 1954, in Crawfordsville, a daughter of the late Samuel Clark Millis, M.D.  and Lois Marie (Switzer) Viehmann.

Susie graduated from Indiana University- Bloomington in 1984, earning a B.A. degree; she also attended DePauw University in Greencastle. Susie's family was especially important to her and she loved attending all of her daughter's sporting events. She also enjoyed reading, family history, playing card games, gardening, and cooking, along with hiking, dogs and going on nature walks. Susie attended First Baptist Church, Alcoholics Anonymous, and knitting and crocheting groups.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Laura (Drew) Shadburne of Louisville, KY; her loving sisters and brothers, Mary (Frank) Albers of Cincinnati, OH, Jeanne (Doug Pickering) Millis of North Saanich, BC, Canada, Sam (Dawn) Millis of Sugar Land, TX, Robert Millis of El Paso, TX, and Beth (James) Macfarlane of Houston, TX; her beloved granddaughter, Cadence Shadburne; 6 nieces and nephews and special cousin, Debbie Grush.  In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her step- father, Joseph Viehmann.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at 12 p.m. noon in the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, 307 S Washington Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. A reception will follow at the Creekside Lodge, Crawfordsville.

Final care has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
