Stephen Timothy Ross (Tim), 82, of Lebanon, died October 20, 2022. Born June 26, 1940, to June Speropoulos Ross and Carl Ross.

He was a 1958 graduate of Speedway High School.

Tim retired from Detroit Diesel Allison Rolls Royce Division in 2001 where he worked 41 years in quality control. Tim then worked as an independent contractor for BAE Systems in Houston, Texas for 8 years. Tim was a volunteer golf coach for the Lady Tigers Lebanon Junior High Girls.

He was a member of the Ulen Country Club in Lebanon, Indiana and also to Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, Florida.

Tim loved the game of golf. He always cheered for the Boston Red Sox and for IU basketball.

Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife of 42 years Elizabeth (Betsy) Ross of Lebanon, IN; daughter Debbi Huddleston (Bill) of Charleston, WV; son Jeffrey Ross (Dawn) of Greenwood, IN; brother and sister-in-law Don and Patricia Frahm of Memphis, TN.

Tim loved his 3 grandchildren: Stephen Ryan Huddleston (Danielle) of Winfield, WV; Dr. Brianne Blevins (Zack) of Knoxville, TN; Logan Ross (Ashley) of Indianapolis, IN. He also treasured his 5 great grandchildren: Bowen, Maddox, Caraline and Kyler Huddleston and London Blevins.

Tim, who was known to many as Timmy or Grumpy, will be missed by many of his close friends and golf buddies at Ulen and Mariner Sands. A friend recently said to him that they'll tee up together again on the other side of Heaven

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 2 pm at Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. Friends may call from noon to 2 pm prior to the service.
