Shannon Dee Washington, 53, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis surrounded by her loving family.
Shannon was born September 2, 1969, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late George W. "Bill" and Louella (Blankenship) Luttrell.
Shannon graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1988. She worked in hospital billing for several years, and most recently worked as the property manager for the Canterbury Apartments.
Shannon lived and breathed her family. Her children and grandchildren were her most prized possessions. Shannon spent her time enjoying many family dinners, movies, and shopping trips with her family and close friends. Shannon loved nothing more than her Siesta Key trips with her sister and family. Toes In the sand, soaking up all the sun she could get on the beach. Shannon lit up every room she entered. Just to be in a room with her could make anyone's day, with her beautiful smile, caring eyes, and her true compassion for others around her. Shannon walked to the beat of her own drum. Always stunning, with true beauty, grace, confidence and full of spunk. Shannon is truly loved by so many, and will be missed terribly.
Survivors include her children, Sierrah (Blake) Roberts, Tawneé Roberts, Jaylen (Breezy) Washington, Kruze Washington, and Tré Washington; grandchildren, Roeynn, Aeris, and Oakland; sister, Kristen (Mark) Henderson; niece, Hunter (Zack) Hoyt; and nephew, Hayes (Sydney) Henderson.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, November 26, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 27, at 1 p.m. in the Mortuary.
