Robert "Bob" Mason, 64, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Sep. 25, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Bob was born Apr. 10, 1957, in Lebanon, a son of the late Robert B. and Thelma Marie (Hale) Mason. He married Barbara Lynn Bennington on Aug. 26, 1978.

Bob worked as a diesel mechanic for 20 years, retiring in 2020. He then went on to work part-time for Mohler Farms. His family was important to him and he loved spending time with his grandson. Bob also enjoyed fishing and going on cruise ship vacations.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Barb Mason of Lebanon; sons, Dustin (Heather) Mason and Wyatt Mason, both of Lebanon; grandson, Connor Mason; brother, George (Karen) Mason of Benton AR; and sisters, Deborah Mason of Berea, KY and Edith "Edy" (Phil) Sell of Southport.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel "Danny" Mason and sister, Elizabeth Mason.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Sep. 29, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon with Pastor Craig Howie officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.  Bob will be laid to rest at Jones Cemetery near Warren. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Lebanon Christian Church or to the Mechanicsburg Christian Church.
