Robert "Bob" Knipp, 74, of Lebanon, Indiana died Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Bob was born April 19, 1947, in Indianapolis, a son of the late Robert L. and A. Lucille (Brown) Knipp. He married Mary Allen March 4 ^th , 1967. She survives.

Bob attended North Central High School until 1966.  He started his career as an electrician working with his father then went in the car business.  He worked at several car dealerships throughout Florida and Indianapolis area for over 30 years.

Bob enjoyed time with family and friends out on the water.  Most weekends you would find him spending time on his boat or setting up camp with Mary by his side.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Knipp of Lebanon; daughters, Sherry (Mike) Fleener, Chrisie (Derek) Bocock; son R. Dean (Jessica) Knipp; grandchildren, Reese Beckworth, Payton Fleener, Michael Knipp, Caleb Bocock, Evan Bocock and Levi Bocock; great granddaughters, Marlee Beckworth and Violet Beckworth

Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 19 for visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.

***For those able to attend, we will be having a Celebration of Life at Chrisie Knipp Bocock's house (1880 N. 500E., Lebanon, IN 46052) following the funeral service.  We will be having a bonfire and pitch in style dinner.

Please bring a covered dish or dessert.***
