Mr. Robert Earl Jones, Sr., 86, passed away on Feb. 9, 2021.

Bob was born April 9, 1934 in Henderson, KY to the late Dennis "Billie" and Imogene (Cook) Jones. He was married to Lois Livingston Jones on Nov. 14, 1952. She survives.

Bob worked at Central Indiana Supply Co. for 32 years. He was also a self-employed truck driver for Great Lakes Asphalt Co., Season-All Windows, and the Farm Bureau Co-op.

Bob enjoyed fishing, bowling, reading, traveling, camping, working puzzles and spending over 24 years with Lois and family at Holiday Rest on Raccoon Lake.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Lois, his children Robert "Bobby" (Melody) Jones of Lebanon, Barbara (Dennis) Lindstrom of Seminole, FL, Marcia Jones (the late Ron Britt) and Kathy Jones, both of Lebanon; grandchildren: Adam (Sarah) Zell, Steven (Lauren) Davis, Tracy Davis, Austin Britt, Shane (Amy) Britt, Jake (Corina) Myers, and Jeremy (Shandell) Wallsmith; great grandchildren McKenzie, Arabella, Caleb and Paxton Davis; Aiden and Addison Zell; Lexie Britt; Briana, Ella, and Grace Myers; and Zachary, Isabella, and Jakob Wallsmith; siblings, Carl (Emily) Jones of Florida, Ben (Roseanne) Jones of Virginia, Richard "Dick" (Doris) Jones of Lebanon, and Dottie (Thomas) Salvatore of South Carolina. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by grandsons, Jacob Zell and Bobby Jones III and a brother and sister-in-law Paul and Joyce Jones.

The family will have a private service on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Bob will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
