Mr. Richard Davis, 91, of Lebanon, passed away July 30, 2019 at Homewood Health Campus.

Richard was born April 14, 1928, in Shoals, IN, a son of the late Freeman G. and Nola (Emmons) Davis.

Richard worked as a machine operator for International Harvester and Navistar. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his son, Richard A. Davis, Jr. of Indianapolis and daughter, Kay (Jack) Southern of Nobleton, FL; step-sons Dennis Bruce of Indianapolis and Rodger Bruce of Danville and step-daughter Lana Gantrey of South Carolina; a brother James Davis of Beech Grove and sisters Wilma Walters and Norma Fendley, both of Indianapolis, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and caretaker and friend, Mary Theademan of Lebanon.

Family and friends will gather Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Richard will be laid to rest at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Wanamaker, IN.
