Tim Lollar, 77, of Lebanon, died Sunday, August 25th at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on December 23, 1946, in Lebanon. He was the middle child of Clyde and Stella (Ray) Lollar and was the first of their 11 children that were born in a hospital. On June 9, 1983, Tim married the love of his life Debbie (Stephens) and together they created the blended family that was the pride of his life.

After being raised and educated in Thorntown Indiana, Tim worked in many trades, and he would tell you that he was a "jack of all trades but a master of none (except welding)". He found his calling when he joined the Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Union Local 374, in 1973. After retiring from Kennedy Tank & Manufacturing, in 2002, Tim spent the rest of his days farming with his long-time friend Bill Myers, welding and fabrication work at Venis Trucking.

Tim was a hard-working family man that loved to work and collect everything that he found interesting. He loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR, spending time with his family, and took great pride in caring for his yard and garden.

Tim is survived by his wife and 8 children: Jeannette (Eric) Cook, Randy (Janet) Lollar, Tina Lollar, Vicki (Randy) Edens, Amy Smith, David (Trisha) Black, Wendy Nance, Jeremy (Jessica) Lollar, 18 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday August 28th from 10:00am to 2:00pm, at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Pastor Matt Skiles with Tim being laid to rest at Dover Cemetery.
