Patsy Sue Higginbotham, 82, of Lebanon, passed away March 22, 2018, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.


Patsy was born December 14, 1935, in Princeton, IN, a daughter of the late William Lee and Lois Rebecca (Hart) Winingear. She married Jerald Lynn Higginbotham on Nov. 28, 1953. He passed away Nov. 30, 2014.

Patsy graduated from Princeton High School. She loved sewing and was able to make her daughter's wedding dress. Patsy was a Girl Scout leader. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Patsy was a member of the Milledgeville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters Sherri (Otis) Winkles and Pam Higginbotham both of Lebanon; a son, Larry (Emily) Higginbotham of Thorntown; four grandchildren, Dustin (Dee) Winkles of St. Louis, MO, Chad Winkles of Glendale, CA, Ariel Stewart of Thorntown, and Charlie Whiffing of Thorntown; and one great-grandson, Noah Powell Winkles.

Family and Friends will gather Saturday, Mar. 31, 2018 for a visitation at 11:00 a.m. and a celebration of life service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Milledgeville United Methodist Church, five miles south of Lebanon off State Road 39. Memorials may be made to the Milledgeville United Methodist Church, 4500 S. 150 W., Lebanon, IN 46052.
