Patricia Ann Watkins passed away on 1 October 2025 at the age of 86. She was born 19 November 1938 to John Glenn and Stella Viola (Montgomery) Castner on their farm near Pittsboro, Hendricks County, Indiana. She graduated from Pinnell High School in 1956.

She married Robert Jewel Groce in 1956 and they divorced in 1961. She married William Lloyd Watkins in 1962 and they later divorced.

She lived with her family in Lebanon, Indiana for most of her life. She worked at Economy Fire & Casualty (St Paul/Travelers insurance) and retired after 20 years. She was a member at Mt. Tabor Baptist church for many years.

She was in a euchre club in the Lebanon area for years. She instilled in her children a lifelong enjoyment of playing games with the family.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, siblings Dortha Castner, Raymond Castner, Betty (Castner) Smith, Donald Castner, and John G. Castner Jr as well as both of her ex husbands.

She is survived by her children James (Shari) Groce, Debra Smith, William Watkins Jr, Kristina Mantooth, and Richard (Jill) Watkins, her sister Linda (Gordon) Davis, her grandchildren Jason (Lindsey) Groce, Geoffrey (Carissa) Groce, Melanie Mantooth, Christopher Barnes, Jessica Mantooth, Derek Mantooth, Justin Mantooth, Tyler Watkins, and Jacob Watkins as well as many great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
