Patricia Dianne (Whisler) Brown, 80, of Lebanon, IN passed away on Sept. 9, 2020.

Dianne was born on Feb. 24, 1940 in rural Boone County.  She grew up a "country girl" on her daddy's dairy farm. Dianne attended Terhune Grade School, as well as Kirklin High School.

Dianne was married to Pete Brown on Feb. 21, 1964 they were married 54 years.  Together, they raised their two sons Mark and David.

Dianne was a loving mother, grandma, daughter and friend.  She was known for her keen sense of humor and her beautiful smile.

Dianne worked for many years for the Lebanon Schools in the Food Service Department at Stokes Elementary and then at the Lebanon High School.  She also worked at 3D, Big R and Titus Donut Shop in Lebanon and at Conseco in Carmel for many years.

Dianne loved traveling with Peter, her family and friends.  She was also interested in flowers, collecting small glass pieces and her jewelry.   She loved having her family around.  Dianne loved a good "gab" session that often lasted into the wee hours of the night.  Lots of laughs and questions were always involved.

Dianne is survived by her son Mark (Angela) Brown; grandchildren Katy (Brian) Cramer, Ayreka (Doug) Gibson, Jay Brown, Sheauna (Nick) Corbeau, and David (Alysha) Brown; eleven great-grandchildren; her brother Danny Whisler (Susie), sister Tammy Clark, niece Kris Whisler, nephew Brad Whisler, along with several cousins.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents Neal Whisler and Thelma (Nunally) Whisler, her son David Brown, infants lost at birth and one great-granddaughter Jolene Gibson.

The funeral service will be held at Strawmyer & Drury funeral home. Pastor Phil Whisler of Trinity Church of Mulberry will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. with a service to begin at 11:00. Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Phil Whisler officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Dianne will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
