Mr. Otis Thacker, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, at his home.

Otis was born March 15, 1938, in Morgan County, Indiana, a son of the late Dale Freeman and Margaret Thacker. He was married to Loretta (Davis) Thacker, and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2020.

Following high school, Otis served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama. He had worked as a produce clerk for IGA, Marsh, and Kroger.

Survivors include his siblings, Stella, Bonnie, Steve and Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews. Otis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Thacker; and his son, Mike Thacker.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, October 20, for a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon with Pastor Merv McNair officiating.
