Mrs. Nancy Murdock Headley, 84, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by family.

Nancy was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Linton, a daughter of the late Winston and Dorothy (Burdsall) Murdock. She married Joseph Edward Headley on May 27, 1965.

They had four kids, Beth Butner (David), Maia Headley Miller (Walter), Mark Headley (Armida), and Lars Headley; grandchildren, Kyle Butner, Denise Ellis, Nyah Headley, and Jessica and Luke Headley; great grandchildren, Aiden Ellis and Austin Ellis; brothers, Larry Murdock (Susie) of Tell City and Jerry Murdock (Carolyn) of Worthington; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Lowe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, David and Donnie, two sisters, Sandy and Joy, and niece, Amy Lowe.

Nancy previously worked for Indiana Bell, Dr. Porter, Dr. Dillion, Mayflower, and Meijer. She enjoyed reading, antiques, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, Oct. 15, for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Nancy will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon
