Molly Ann Riggs, 76, of Lebanon, passed away May 19, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Molly was born March 27, 1942, in Terre Haute, IN, a daughter of the late Austin and Mildred (Fulford) Manhart. She married Carl Wayne Riggs on October 1, 1960. He preceded her in death.

Molly was involved in many civic and fraternal organizations. She was a Boone County Circuit Court bailiff. She also worked in development for Old Indiana and at the Lumber Center as a credit manager. Molly retired after being Center Township Trustee for several years.

Survivors include her sons David (Beth Hardebeck) Riggs of Frankfort, Michael Iley, and David Sterne; daughters Sarah (Ian) Kennedy of Lebanon and Patti (Gary) Hafenbridle of Lebanon; foster daughters  Marta Pelrine-Bacon of Austin, TX and Jody (Kevin) Heeter of Indianapolis; grandchildren Ann (Jason) Hendricks, Kimberly (Jeff) Wright, Michael (Nicole) Riggs, and Madeline Kennedy; and great-grandchildren Graham Allen Wright, Abbigail Lynn Riggs, Elizabeth McKenzie Hendricks, Andrew Scott Hendricks, Jacob Dean Hendricks, Clara Lane Wright, and Cadence Harper Riggs.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, May 23, 2018 for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and services will take place Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Craig Howie officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Molly will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
