Mr. Michael Horlacher, 68, of Thorntown, passed away Jan. 11, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Mike was born March 22, 1952 in Lebanon, a son of Emma Jean Horlacher and the late Lloyd Horlacher. He was married to Jo Lynn Jones on Apr. 8, 1973. She survives.

Mike was a 1970 graduate of Thorntown High School. He worked as a collator operator at Relizon, formerly known as Shumates, for over 30 years and currently was employed at Hachette Group since 2008.

Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing, doing yard work and watching IU basketball, the Colts and the Pacers. He was a member of Pleasant View Church.

In addition to his wife, Jo Lynn, and mother, Emma Jean, Mike is survived by three children: Jason (Belle) Horlacher of Pikeville, NC, and John (Lisa) Horlacher and Jeff (Kate) Horlacher, both of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Samantha, JT (fiancé Madi), AJ, Ray, Aspen, Eli and Luke; brothers, Mark (Diane) Horlacher and Ray (Norma) Horlacher, both of Thorntown and a sister, Michelle Horlacher of Lebanon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 for visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Pleasant View Church, 5295 W. SR 32, Lebanon, IN. The family requests that visitors follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing and wearing masks.
