Mr. Michael Craig, 43, of Lebanon, passed away April 29, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Michael was born on November 20, 1973, in Indianapolis, the son of James Edward Craig and Nettie Louise (Gwinn) Shrout. He married Cheryl Hewitt on October 12, 1996. She survives.
Michael worked for Autoglass Fitters. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Michael loved racing and he used to drag race at the Indianapolis Raceway Park in his Malibu. He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Craig of Lebanon; his mother Nettie (Bobby) Shrout of Brownsburg; his son James (fiancé Arrianna Artman) Craig; his daughter Makayla (Chris) Asher of Greenwood; his mother and father-in-law Sandy and Kenneth Hewitt; his brothers-in-law Chris Wells of Indianapolis and Michael (Maria) Hewitt; his grandchildren Kaylin Schulthies, Madilynn Melton, Jaila Melton, and Corbin, Colton, Madison and Lilliana Asher; his niece and nephew Samantha Wells and Andrew Craig; and his great-niece Kelly. Michael was preceded in death by his father James Edward Craig and his sister Michelle Lynn Wells.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, May 3, 2017 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. with Pastor Larry Pierson officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
