Mrs. Marilyn J. Haughton, 87, of Lebanon, passed away December 23, 2018, at her home.

Marilyn was born April 25, 1931, in Indianapolis, daughter of the late Rollie J. and Lora (Calgur) Dean. She married Charles D. Haughton. He survives.

Marilyn was a graduate of Lebanon High School, where she and her friends were charter members of the Rainbowettes.  She then worked at the Statehouse for the State Highway Department as a secretary. Marilyn was later a secretary at the Lebanon High School for over 15 years. She and her husband also owned Fountains and More, where they made fountains, statues, and other memorials. Marilyn enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She also loved sewing, quilting, and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Haughton of Lebanon; and sons, Phillip Haughton of Lebanon, John Bradley (Sharon) Reese of North Carolina, David B. (Beverly) Kettrey of Lebanon, and Stephen Kettrey. Marilyn was preceded in death by her son Charles Andrew Reese.
