Marceline Jean "Jeanne" Wait, 92, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Anson Senior Living.

Jeanne was born July 27, 1928, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Drake) Oliver. She married Richard E. Wait on May 16, 1980. He passed away June 4, 2019.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Kish of Old Town, FL and David (Chris) Kish of Yulee, FL; brother-in-law, Gordon Wait of Lebanon and sister-in-law, Phyllis Wait of Lafayette.

Jeanne enjoyed a career with the US Postal Service before retiring as manager/ Postmaster. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church.

A private graveside service was held with burial at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown. Final care of Jeanne was entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Thorntown Public Library, 124 N. Market Street, Thorntown, IN 46071 or to Boone County Senior Services, Inc., 515 Crown Pointe Drive, Lebanon, IN 46052.
