Linda Payne, 63, of Lebanon, died Friday, September 11 at Signature Parkwood in Lebanon. She was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Nannie (Lamb) Woolery. Linda graduated from the Lebanon High School with the Class of 1982 and then married Gary B. Payne on September 25, 1982, a loving union that lasted 44 years.

Linda owned and operated Lollipops and Tots Daycare in Lebanon for many years providing a safe and loving environment for many local children. Her family was important to her and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time in their home watching football and caring for those close to her.

She is survived by her husband; children, Nick (Casey) Payne of Lebanon and Dakota Lynn (Jordan) Dale of Avon; brothers, Bud (Diana) Woolery of Lebanon and Tommy Woolery of Indianapolis; sister, Donna (Bob) Trafford of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Diana Woolery of Lebanon; grandchildren, Cloey Payne, Brandtley Payne, Huxley Payne, Trinity Dale and Tucker Dale; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Woolery.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 19 for her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Bob Trafford officiating in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. The family will host a visitation immediately following her funeral until 4:00 p.m. in the mortuary.
