Obituary

Linda D. Dickerson surrounded by family, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Linda was the first born of Ernie M. Graves and Ruby Jane Cummins Graves, born June 22, 1948, in Lebanon, IN.

Linda graduated from Granville Wells High School in 1966 and married the love of her life, Steven W. Dickerson in December of 1966.

Linda worked in sales where she was able to travel and make friends all over the world. After she retired, she continued her love of traveling, her favorite being Steve's Vietnam military reunions.

Her hobbies included her love of reading, bird watching, shopping, and decorating.

Family was the most important thing to her, but when she wasn't with family, she enjoyed spending time with her "Card Club" girls.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steven of Jamestown; her brother, Mike (Cindy) Graves of Franklin; her daughter, Kelli Dickerson; her son, Greg (Sherrie) Dickerson; her grandchildren, Mitchell (Emily) Hodgen, Marshall Hodgen, Madison Hodgen, Aaron Dickerson, Tyler Dickerson, and Stefanie Dickerson; her great-grandson, Grissom "Gus" Hodgen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family will remember her for her kind spirit, great laugh, and always wearing a beautiful hat to every event.

Visitation will take place at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary in Lebanon, on Saturday June 3rd from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Jamestown at the IOOF Cemetery. A celebration of life open house will be held from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at 6064 South State Road 75 Jamestown, IN 46147.

Instead of flowers, the family would hope that you would do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone less fortunate, in her name.

You are invited to visit the website where you may sign her online register and leave a personal message at www.strawmyerdrury.com.
