Obituary

Mr. Kenny "Cowboy" Manning, 54, of Lebanon, passed away Apr 2, 2018.

Kenny was born in Indianapolis on Aug. 26, 1963, to Thomas Manning and the late Peggy (Conner) Manning. He was married to Vicki (Hines) Manning on May 27, 1989. She survives.

Kenny attended Southport High School. He was a cook at Ulen Country Club for 27 years and at Christmas time played Santa Claus. He was a member of Central Indiana Young Marines and as a campout cook he prepared three meals a day. Kenny was also a blood donor.

Kenny enjoyed playing Bingo. He loved his family and his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki; children: Conway (Patty) Manning, Stephen Lahne, Mandy Franks and Jonathon Lahne, all of Lebanon; siblings: Phillip (Amy) Manning, Jackie (Chris) Dennis, Carl (Julie) Manning, Dawn Manning, Casey (Dawn) Manning, and Scott (Tina) Manning, all of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Felicity Franks, Elizabeth Franks, Noah Franks, and Stephen Lahne, III. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, April 5, 2018 for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the funeral service on Friday, April 6, at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Kenny will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
