Kathryn "Kathi" (Bauer) Swearer, 75, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023. She was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Logansport, a daughter of the late William and Betty (McCarty) Bauer.

Kathi graduated from Logansport High School with the class of 1966. She enjoyed reading, along with cooking and baking. She had a big heart and would always put everyone before herself; she just wanted everyone to be happy. She was especially proud of her two daughters. Kathi rescued many animals over the years and loved supporting many charities, especially the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Tom Swearer; daughters, Lisa Clifton (Todd Swain) and Jennifer Dustman; step-daughter, Heather (Larry) Hurley; grandchildren, Kyle Clifton, Brandt Hurley, and Tanner Hurley; great granddaughters, Mya and Emma Hurley; sister-in-law, Shelly Nielsen; and nephew, Steven Shaw.

Kathi was preceded in death by her brother, Phil Bauer and son-in-law, Mark Dustman.
