Judith Lou (Hickson) Price passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born September 24, 1938, in Lebanon, Indiana to the late Walter William Hickson and Opal Mae Bean.

Judy graduated from Thorntown High School in 1956. She married Devon Edward (Ed) Price on June 22, 1956 in Lebanon. Ed preceded her in death on January 29, 2012; they had celebrated 56 years together.

Judy worked for Don Gustin as manager at the Thorntown Dairy Queen for 15 years, then waitressed at the Holiday Inn on US 421. She also waitressed at the Lebanon Elks, Stookey’s Restaurant, and the Lost Frontier.

Judy and Ed wintered in Fort Myers for several years. She loved spending time with her family, along with playing euchre, playing BINGO, going to garage sales, flea markets, and the casino.

Judy is survived by her children, William Andrew (Andy) Price of Lebanon, Lynda Joy Price (Kelly) of Carlsbad, California, and Brian Robert Price of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Teresa Price; grandchildren, Cara Lynne Milton (Rob), Devon Andrew (Drew) Price (Hilary), and Lauren Ashley Price; great – grandchildren, Emma Lynne Milton (Jessica), Laurel La’Nae Milton (Austin), Carmen Jolie Milton, Hudson Andrew Price, Gemma Kaye Price, and Maisley Lou Price; step – grandchildren, Jerico Cantu and Nathan Hurless; step – great- grandchildren, Isaiah and Aaryn Cantu; sisters, Carolyn Joyce Hadley and Mary Jane Billeter (Ken); brother, Charles Wesley Hickson (Cindy); and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed; sons, Douglas Lee Price and Joe Edward Price; sisters, Katherine Anne (Katy) Bryant and Barbara Jean (Jeannie) Foster; brothers, William Robert (Bob) Hickson and Donald Joseph Hickson.

Family and friends will gather Friday, October 2, for visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
