Mrs. Joy M. Marvin, 58, of Lebanon, passed away Oct. 24, 2017, at Witham Hospital.

Joy was born on April 24, 1959 in Monrovia, CA, a daughter of the late Douglas and Faye (Rose) Schaeffer. She was married to Douglas Marvin in 1977. He survives.

Joy was a homemaker and took great pride is raising her family and watching her grandchildren.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, going to garage sales and traveling. She loved pets too.

Survivors include her husband and children, Douglas Marvin II, William Marvin and Jaime Martin; grandchildren, Alric and Madelyn Martin; and nieces and nephews, Bianca, Doug, and Jeremy. Joy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Houchens.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 for visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
