Joshua Wayne Saari Sanders, 40, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 25, 1983, in Clinton County, a son of Stanley Saari and Cora Lee (Sanders) Strunk.

Joshua earned his GED and also attended Ball State University. He had worked for many places including Kauffman Engineering and Sanders Construction. Joshua loved to play video games and loved the Ninja Turtles. His family was especially important to him and he loved spending time with his kids.

Survivors include his fiancé, Sandra Dukes; father, Stanley Saari; mother, Cora Lee Strunk; sons, Joseph and Jakob Sanders; siblings, Jonathan Mooneyhan, Desiree Mooneyhan, Liam Maurice Saari, James (Tiffany) Strunk, Samantha (Jacob) Fahnestock, Norma Kay (Brandon) Bray, and Jerusha Amber Cochran; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joshua was preceded in death by his step-father, Sam Strunk and sister, Roseanne Strunk.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Oct. 10, for visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
