Mr. Jerry L. Eavey, 81, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Jerry was born on January 31, 1944, in Frankfort, a son of the late Carl D. and Esther M. (Colcord) Eavey. He was married to Marilyn Kaye (Carney) Eavey. She preceded him in death August 2, 2017.

Jerry had worked for Allison Transmission for over 40 years. Family was especially important to him, and he loved watching Friday night wrestling with his grandkids. Jerry also enjoyed fishing and playing BINGO and he loved Elvis.

Survivors include his children, Mark (Jessica) Eavey of Lebanon, Monica Eavey of Lebanon, and Tamera Eavey of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Madison (Cordell) Moyer, Brandon Eavey, Phoenix Eavey, Jennifer Ricci, and Dreivayn Wera; great grandchild, Finn Moyer; brothers, Bob (Janice) Eavey of Lafayette and Larry Eavey of Avon; and sister, Jackie Clemens of Lebanon.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jerry was preceded in death by his sisters, Pat Shirey and Susie Clouse.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, May 4, for visitation from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
