Mr. James Winn, 70, of Lebanon, passed away August 9, 2018, at his home.

James was born February 15, 1948, in Indianapolis, a son of the late James Robert and Charlotte (Langsford) Winn. He married Cynthia Ann Metcalf on June 27, 1970. She survives.

James loved being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening and yard work, along with collecting knives and shooting guns. James loved going to church, working, and watching old war movies.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Winn of Lebanon; daughters Sommer (Nick) Valenti of Thorntown and Ashley (Levi) White of Lebanon; grandchildren Faith and Grace Valenti, and Roman, Porter, and Lucy White; siblings Rosemary Boggs, Steve Winn, Susan Winn, Marilyn McCurdy, Patti Graham, Barb Romaine, and Joe Winn; and several nieces and nephews.  James was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings John Winn, Graceann Berry, and Dotty Knartzer.

Family and friends will gather Sat., Aug. 18, 2018 for visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m., with Pastor Rob Jankowski officiating in the New Hope Christian Church, 5780 S.
