Mr. James E. "Jim" Dodson, 74, of Lebanon, passed away June 3, 2018, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Jim was born August 7, 1943, in Tennessee, a son of Hollis and Jessie (Warden) Dodson. He married Linda Pegan on October 31, 1971. She survives.

Jim graduated from Zionsville High School. He worked as a foreman for Allison's Transmission for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, Eagles club and cards, fishing, and bowling. Jim played fun trivia and he was ranked 37 ^th out of thousands of people.

Survivors include his wife Linda Dodson of Lebanon, daughters Nicole Lynn Dodson and Tanya Lea Dodson, both of Westfield; brother Earl Dodson of Heritage Lake; and sisters Geri Giles of Lebanon and Maxine Dodson of Columbus, OH.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, June 7, 2018, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a service at 6:30 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in the Dodson Chapel Cemetery, Rickman, TN. Jim will be laid to rest at Dodson Chapel Cemetery in Rickman, TN.
