Mr. Harold E. "Buck" Buckingham, 90, of Lebanon, passed away Jan. 21, 2019 at The Waters of Lebanon.

Harold was born June 12, 1928, in Hendricks County, the sixth and youngest child of the late Virgil and Katherine Buckingham. After his father passed in 1933 his mother married Jesse Pratt in 1940.

Harold married Eleanor Everhart on Dec. 25, 1949. She died Apr. 21, 2002. Harold was an oil distributor from1950-1988. He was a consignee for Cities Service Oil Co. from 1950-72 and 1972 to 1988 he purchased what was known as "Buck's Citgo".

Harold was on the Advisory Board for Jackson Township in Boone County for eight years and served on the Jamestown Town Council where he was a member for 12 years (eight years as a member and four years as president).

Survivors include his children: Debra, Nancy, Roger, Vicky and Rick; 14 grandchildren: Trina, Brittany, Adrian, Kristen, Lindsey, Breana, Brad, Bryan, Tayler, Tanner, Travis, Rachel, Matthew and Jarrod; 16 great-grandchildren: Adleigh, Brennan, Brielle, Alden, Aria, Dakota, Dalton, Lexi, Luke, Lincoln, Lane, Parker, Kaianna, Wesley, Zeke and Bowen. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father; a son, Ronald and siblings, Maxine Vidito, William, Wayne, Dorothy Jones, Norma Trent and Linda Patterson.
