Mr. George M. Reel, 70, of Jamestown, passed away Nov. 18, 2018 at Hendricks Regional Hospital.

George was born Apr. 6, 1948 in Vincennes, IN., a son of the late Delbert and Isabella (La Plante) Reel. He was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School in New York and served in the U.S. Army.  On Aug. 31, 1967 he married Naomi Forget. She survives.

George worked for the United States Postal Service. He traveled from Maine to California and liked collecting knives.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi; two daughters: Jennifer (Anthony) Moffett of Idaho and Amanda (Anthony) Fuller of Jamestown; grandchildren, Wyatt Ceiser, Kelly Ceiser, Kalen Moffett and Alec Moffett; great granddaughter, Zoe May Moffett; a brother, Robert Reel of Lebanon, and sisters, Virginia (Gerald) Gonyea of Tennessee and Cheryl (Russ) Horrall of Vincennes.   In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a daughter, Kellie Ann Reel, a brother, Roland Reil and sisters, Barbara Divine, Rose Marie Hubble and Genevive Doty.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
