Mr. Gary Lee Kirby, 75, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born October 20, 1948, in West Virginia, a son of the late Charles and Audrey F. (Dean) Kirby.

Gary was a plumber by trade, he worked for his family's business, he enjoyed working on cars and especially his Mustang.

Survivors include his children, Neil (Anna) Kirby, Shannon (David) Kwaitkowski, and Chad (Mary Ann) Kirby; grandchildren, Brenden Kirby, Richard (Jennifer) Kirby, Stefan Kwaitkowski, and Hunter Kirby; great grandchildren, Lucille, Goldie, and Reagan; wife, Tonya Kirby; sisters, Kay (Sam) Traylor, Linda Filbin, and Wanda Kirby; brothers, David Kirby and Bob Kirby; sister-in-law, Patty Kirby; and the mother of his children, Madelan Brook Kirby.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Teila Rivere; brothers, Charlie Kirby and Larry Kirby; sister, Sue Kirby; and sister-in-law, Susie Kirby.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, October 3, for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
