Living Life to the "T"
Gary Katona experienced life to the "T" - celebrating every minute!
TABLE
- Don't leave anything on the table; live life to the fullest; live your dash (the time between birth
and death); do your bucket list now - travel, golf, attend sporting events, spend time with friends and
family, dance like no one's watching, enjoy life - it's meant to be lived!
TIME
- What is time and how much do you have? Nothing is guaranteed – God's will be done. Tell your
loved ones you love them - you never know when it could be the last time.
TRUTH
- Walk in the light of the Lord - spirituality is important - find the light and follow it; be willing to
learn and grow; share your God given talents - whatever they are - that's why you're here on this earth.
TRY
- We're all human; try to improve daily, learn from mistakes, fall down - get back up and try again.
THANKS
(from Jennifer Jones, his wife) - To everyone who has done (or will do) many things for me in my
time of need – Thank You! All are very meaningful: praying; mowing and edging the lawn; dropping by
for hugs and tears; providing words of encouragement; preparing meals; shopping for groceries; calling,
texting, or e-mailing; picking up my workload at work; inviting me out or over; sharing; lightening the load;
listening; crying; and loving. Please know how grateful I am to be wrapped in your love and support.
TAILGATE
- Life should be celebrated! What better way than a party? One of Gary's favorite things to do
was to tailgate before Purdue and Colt's football games. He always wanted friends and family to stop by,
catch up, have a bite to eat, and enjoy a refreshment. Please join Jennifer and her sister Susan Jones
(Matt Huffine), as we tailgate "Gary style" at Strawmyer & Drury in Lebanon on Friday, October 1st, 2021,
anytime between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. If you're a certain age - you'll understand the reference – we're
going to party like it's 1999! He would want that!
Please, no flowers or donations, your presence is gift enough
