Mr. Everett A. Wilson, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Dec. 17, 2019 at his home.
Everett was born July 3, 1931, in Lebanon, a son of the late Arthur and Flossie (Wagner) Wilson. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and served in U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1953. On May 16, 1955 he married Ginny (Peyton) Wilson. She survives.
Everett worked for Eli Lilly as a plasterer. He and Ginny have owned the Lebanon Bowling Center since 1971. For 17 years Everett and Ginny would travel to Florida and stay at Ormond By The Beach.
Everett was a member of the VFW Post 910, American Legion and Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Ginny; children: Janice McIntyre of Pittsboro, Joe (Ginger) Wilson, Jeff (fiancé Amy Burgett) Wilson, John (Vickie) Wilson, all of Lebanon and Jill (John "JR" Robertson) Baker of Colfax; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren plus one due in March and one great-great grandchild; and a sister Patricia (Jim) Maze of Lebanon. Everett was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Wilson; a son-in-law, Tom McIntyre and a great-grandson.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. with the service beginning at 4 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
