Mrs. Evelyn Perkins, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Feb 12, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.


Evelyn was born Feb. 17, 1932 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Donald and Wilma Pressey. She married Kenneth Sanders in 1948 and he preceded her in death. Evelyn was married to Kenneth Perkins in 2007. He passed away in 2014.

Evelyn was a homemaker. She was an avid Euchre player at the Frankfort Senior Citizens Center. She loved God, her family and many friends she accumulated over the years.

Survivors include her daughters Kimberly Hensley of Lebanon and Barbara Naugle of Murray, KY; grandchildren: Jared (Courtney) Hensley of Lafayette, Jeremy (Jennifer) Hensley of Frankfort, Season Hensley of Lebanon, Shannon Hensley of Lafayette, Jordan Hensley of Flora and Cassandra (Robin) Naugle of Murray, KY; and 12 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Alice Moore, brothers Donald and Kenneth Pressey, half-brothers Sam and Jimmy Vaughter, and half-sister Betty Vaughter.

Family and friends will gather Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
