Diana Sue Nelson, 58, of Lebanon, passed away May 5, 2020, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Diana was born Sept. 7, 1961 in Lebanon, IN, a daughter of the late Paul Stanley Sr. and Beverly Jean (Lottes) Voorhis.

Diana attended Lebanon High School. After school, she lived a short time in Colorado and worked on a horse ranch. She returned to Lebanon and worked for Kauffman Engineering for many years.

Diana loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She would always try and take in strays and give them a good home. She also enjoyed spending time reading and listening to music.

Survivors include her brother, Paul Voorhis, Jr. of Buffalo; sisters, Mary (David) James of Lebanon, Teresa (Junior) Summers of Darlington, Stacy (Steve) Voorhis-George of Gretna, NE, Lisa (Larry) Spears of Lebanon, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Diana's memory may be made to the Boone County Humane Society.  Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
