Debra (Debi) Lynn Niehaus, 63, of Lebanon, was called home on April 4, 2017.
Debi was born on November 17, 1953, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Richard Gentry, Sr. and Doris (Davis) Gentry. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 42 years, Wayne Niehaus
Debi loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Debi would prefer to spend her time on a house boat at Dale Hollow or Cumberland than anywhere else. Prior to retirement, Debi spent several years as the office manager for the Center Township Trustee. She was a former member of the American Business Women's Association.
Survivors include her husband Wayne Niehaus of Lebanon; her son Christopher Niehaus of Avon; her daughters Melissa Payne of Martinsville, Brigitte (Dennis) Rose of Lebanon, and Heather Reagan of Indianapolis; her brothers Richard (Julia) Gentry, Ryan (Jennifer) Gentry, and Brian (Jacqulyn) Gentry; her sister Laurie (Harold) Hill; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Debi was preceded in death by her brother Keith Evers Gentry and her grandson A.J. Reagan.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, April 8, 2017, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. with a meal to follow in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
