David H. Kirby, II, 40, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

David was born Aug. 21, 1980, in Indianapolis, a son of David Harold and Tina Sue "Susie" (Garrell) Kirby.

David graduated from Western Boone High School with the class of 1998. He enjoyed working in the family plumbing business. David also enjoyed watching UFC, playing Texas Hold 'Em, and shopping. His family was especially important to him; he loved being an uncle and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his parents, David and Susie Kirby of Lebanon; sisters, Michelle (Josh) Williams, Melissa Nelson, Lisa (Keith) Smith, Tammy (Jeff) Swafford, and Angela Halford; his dog, Mia; and many nieces and nephews, and cousins. David was preceded in death by his fiancé, Chastity McClaine and brother-in-law, TJ Nelson.

Family and friends will gather Monday, August 23, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. David will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
