Cora Lee Strunk, 59, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at her home in Thorntown, Indiana.

Cora was born August 13, 1964 in Vincennes, IN daughter of the late Harris (Bud) and Sally (Greene) Sanders.  Cora was married to Richard Strunk.  He passed away in January, 2022.

Cora enjoyed spending time with her family around a bon fire and riding 4 wheelers.  Cora also enjoyed working in her yard.

Cora is survived by her son James (Tiffany) Strunk, Alabama, daughters, Samantha (Jacob) Fahnestock, Frankfort, Norma (Brandon) Bray, Thorntown, and Amber Cochran, Thorntown.  Also surviving is a brother James Penrose, Thorntown and sister Janet (Nick) Ghaznani,, Indianapolis.  Cora is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents Harris (Bud) and Sally Sanders, husband Richard Strunk, son Josh Sanders, daughter Rosie Smith, and granddaughter Maylynn Shrock.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, January 9, 2024 for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.  Cora will be laid to rest at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon, IN.
