Cody
Jedwabny
Dec 28, 1990 — Dec 29, 2019
Appleton
We are extremely saddened to announce the untimely passing of our beloved Cody Ward Jedwabny, 29, on Dec. 29, 2019 in Appleton, WI.
Cody was born on Dec. 28, 1990 to Brian and Kathy Jedwabny. He lived the majority of his life in Lebanon IN, but had moved to Appleton in 2018. He was a fabulous chef who was employed through St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he was loved by all who met him.
Cody was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad, grandfather, uncles and cousins. His sense of humor and beautiful smile were contagious; and he had a personality that drew everyone to him. He was a lifetime Green Bay Packer fan who proudly wore his green and gold. Cody had a tender heart full of a deep love for all of his family members and friends.
Cody's daughter, Kayden, was the world to him. He was the best father any little girl could ever dream of having. He and Kayden were like one soul in two bodies. They had so much fun laughing, dancing, playing, painting fingernails, nighty night snuggles, taking selfies, eating bowls of ice cream and loving doggies.
He is survived by his wife Emily (Wolff) Jedwabny whom he married on June 23, 2018.
Cody's parents are Brian and Kathy Jedwabny of Lebanon IN, brother, Justin Ellis and wife, Jess and children; Charlie, Sawyer and Riley of Hope Mills, NC and Aiden and Austin of Lebanon, IN. Cody's Grandparents include Bob and Diane Jedwabny of Keshena WI; Gillis Tucker and David Cline, of Lebanon, IN; aunts and uncles include Bruce and Dirlena Jedwabny, Jean Ann and Randy Almus, and Brad and Wendi Jedwabny, all of Kaukauna, WI; Mike and Kim Cline, Carol and Mike Cunningham, Junior and Laura Tucker, and Rick Cline, all of Lebanon, a brother-in-law, Matt Wolff, wife Alex, and daughter Charlie; a sister-in-law, Rachel Wolff, and in-laws John and Angie Wolff all of Martinsville, IN.; and numerous cousins who he loved dearly.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest Tucker and the "best dog ever" Buddy.
A visitation for Cody will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 from 2-6 p.m. and the funeral will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 10:00 a.m. both in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary in Lebanon, IN.
Memorial contributions for Kayden Jedwabny's college fund can be made payable to Farmer's Bank, "For the benefit of Kayden Jedwabny", 2304 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
