Cedric James Michalke, 28, of Lebanon, IN passed tragically on Sunday, June 19, 2022.  He was born September 15, 1993 to John and Michelle Michalke.

Cedric was a 2012 graduate of Western Boone High School and attended Purdue University.  He had worked at Frito-Lay in Frankfort, IN for 8 years, which is where he met his fiancé, Heather Brock. They had been together since 2017, recently buying a house and building life together. He most enjoyed spending time with Heather, his two sons, Tucker (8) and Clayton (2), and with his many friends playing golf and going paint-balling.  Cedric was full of life, easy to laugh, fun-loving, stubborn, and beautiful.  He loved deeply and will continue to be deeply loved.

Survivors include his fiancé, Heather Brock and their son, Clayton Michalke; son, Tucker Michalke and his mother, Hannah McCloskey; parents, John Michalke (Crystal Tatman) and Michelle Michalke (Andrew Huehls); brothers, Levi and Jared Michalke; grandmother, Teresa Carter, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended families.

His grandparents, James and Barbara Michalke and James Carter preceded him in death.

Visitation is at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  A short memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm with internment following at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown, IN.  Memorial donations to support his two sons can be made at https://gofund.me/121bff71 or mailed to Cedric Michalke Memorial Fund, c/o Home National Bank, 117 E Main St, Thorntown, IN 46071.
