Carol Dugan, 66, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.

Carol was born Feb. 21, 1955, in Indianapolis, a daughter of Lowell G. and Dorothy Jean (Houchens) Thomas. She married David Dugan on Jun. 30, 1973.

Carol graduated from Speedway High School with the class of 1973. She worked as a software consultant for SAP International for 17 years. Carol was an avid golfer and runner, and she enjoyed reading. She also loved to travel, especially to the beach and ocean.

Survivors include her mother; husband, David Dugan of Lebanon; children, Tom (Lauren) Dugan of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Kyle Dugan (Roger) Ake of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Fiona, Nina, Desmond, and Patrick Ake-Dugan, and Delaney and Declan Dugan; and sister, Carrie Salsman of Speedway.

Carol was preceded in death by her father and brother-in-law, Dan Salsman.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, Nov. 4, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 319 E. South Street, Lebanon.  Carol will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon.
