Mrs. Carol J. Belcher, 80, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jul. 2, 2023, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late George W. and Marjorie J. (Coy) Fuller. Carol married Ned Belcher on Mar. 28, 1971, in the Central Christian Church and he survives.
Carol graduated from Lebanon High School. She had worked as a beautician, along with working at the BMV and the Lebanon Schools Cafeteria. Carol loved her family, as well as her dog, George. She enjoyed crocheting, frequenting local eateries, and visiting with her friends. Carol also loved to travel, especially wintering in Sebring, FL. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Sorority.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ned Belcher of Lebanon; daughters, Debbie (Bobby) Taylor of Lebanon, Jody (Tim) Davis of Plainfield, and Cindy (Doug) Linton of Antioch; sister, Sharon Stradling of Lebanon; grandchildren, Amber (Brandon) Wolfe, Melissa Lee, Amanda and Jessica, Brittany Davis, and Brooke (Jonathan) Gee; five great grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, Jul. 6, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jul. 7, at 10:30 a.m. in the Mortuary. Carol will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
