Carl Allen Trump, 95, of Lebanon died Sunday, July 29 in the home he and his late wife, Nola, purchased in 1943 surrounded by the people he loved the most, his family.

Carl was born Sat., July 28, 1923; one of eleven children from the marriage of Pearl Arthur and LuAnna Eggers Trump.  After first grade in Danville, Carl attended Pike Township schools having graduated from Pike High School in 1942.  Carl married Nola (Hankins) Trump and moved to Lebanon on Sept. 1, 1943.

Anyone that knew Carl was aware of how proud he was to be a Veteran.  He served in the United States Marines from September 1943 until February 1946 earning the rank of Corporal.    Carl was stationed at Midway Island; a member of the 5 ^th Fleet aboard the U.S.S. New Jersey Battleship.

After moving to Lebanon the Trump family continued to grow. Carl and Nola had four daughters; Marilyn McGinley Williams of Sevierville, TN, Linda Lou Little of Lebanon, IN, the late Audrey Sue Davis and the late Carla Kay Milnes.

Carl was a heavy equipment operator for 46 years having worked for Leach Excavating Co., Zebrowski & Associates and Lambert Excavating in Plainfield.

Although Carl had an extraordinary work ethic he also found time to enjoy life. Carl and Nola traveled the United States in their RVs, meeting new friends along the way. Their family, especially grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren are what they enjoyed the most.  Their home was the place to find advice, support, a meal and always unconditional love.  Some families have reunions; the Trump's celebrated their family and friends by way of their 4 ^th of July annual, a tradition that lasted over seventy years creating many lasting memories.

His memberships included Boone Lodge #9, F.&A.M, Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley, Murat Shrine Indianapolis, past president Boone County Shrine Club, American Legion Post 51     Lebanon, VFW Post 910 Lebanon and Central Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughters Marilyn and Linda Lou; a son-in-law, Jeff Milnes of Alameda, CA; grandchildren: Elizabeth McGinley Davis of Greenwood, Sarah (Lonnie) McGinley-Chapin of Milan, Audrey Williams and Amanda (David) Hammond of Sevierville, TN, Julie (Andy) Cline of Lebanon, Christopher (Jennifer) Davis of Lebanon, Montana (Jason) Hardin of Indianapolis and Allen (Deedra) Milnes of Indianapolis; great-grandchildren: Blake Davis of Princeton, Briannan Davis of Greenwood, Braytin Campbell of Lebanon, Logan (Gabbi) Chapin of Lebanon, Jackston Chapin of Milan, Nevada Dolbeare of Carson, City, NV, Xavier Merritt of Sevierville, TN, Dakota (Kaitlyn) Cline of Zionsville, Savannah (Jake) Cline-Pollard of Thorntown, Aspen Davis of South Bend, Jordan and Camden Davis of Lebanon, and Alanna and Liam Milnes of Indianapolis; great-great grandchildren: Phoenix Davis of Milan, Dominic Johnson of Greenwood, Briar and Ridge Cline of Zionsville, and Sawyer Cline-Pollard, Wyatt and Wade Pollard of Thorntown; and sisters, Esther Williams of Vevay, IN and Juanita Paul of Plainfield, IN.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife; daughters; siblings: Merle Trump, Donald Trump, Raymond Trump, Dorothy Hallowell, Madge Greenlee, Pauline McAvoy, Mary Alice Smith and Thelma Park and a grandchild, Chad Davis.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, August 2 from 4-8 p.m. with Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N Lebanon Street, Lebanon.  The Rev.
