Mr. Brian Eugene Cross, 51, of Thorntown, passed away Saturday, Sep. 9, 2023, at Clinton House in Frankfort, surrounded by family and friends. He was born Feb. 20, 1972, in Lebanon, a son of John and Kathy (Wethington) Cross. He married Rebecca Martin on May 22, 2004, and she survives.

Brian graduated from Western Boone High School with the class of 1991. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Yellow Trucking for 16 years. Brian enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, and camping.

Survivors include his loving wife, Becky Cross of Thorntown; parents, John and Kathy Cross; son, Colton (Alyssa) Cross of Lebanon; daughter, Kayleigh Vernon of Thorntown; sister, Sheryl (Rod) Dunahee of Lebanon; and grandchildren, Chloe Erskine-Reed, Rayce Cross, Gabriel Glenn, and Zoey Vernon.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Sep. 13, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. As a request of Brian, visitors are encouraged to wear casual clothes and jeans. Brian will be laid to rest at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
