Beulah "Bee" Peabody, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at home. She was born Jun. 8, 1934, in Crawfordsville, a daughter of the late Russell and Lulu Elizabeth (Ingersoll) Miles. She married David Walker and they later divorced. Bee then married John Leslie Peabody on Apr. 21, 1979, in Goshen. He preceded her in death Sep. 7, 2012.

Bee graduated from Crawfordsville High School with the class of 1952. She had worked for Stewart Warner, the License Branch, and Bob Pickering Real Estate and Farm Services.

Survivors include her children, Connie Walker of Lebanon, Michael Walker of Lebanon, Cathy Walker (Dan Cole) of Michigan, and Dee (Ralph) Coffing of Florida; sister, Juanita Hines; grandchildren, Travis Strawmyer, Jill (Jeff) Dale, Angela (Jake) Miller, Danielle Walker, Jeb Reid (Jennifer McCormack), Shelaina Reid (Emanuel Sims), Kelly (Roger) Maharaj, and Beth (Jim) Mause; great grandchildren, Cora Dale (Garrett Miller), Taylar Dale, Kolby Dale, Elliott Dale, Josie Strawmyer, Aaron Miller, Isabelle Miller, Lilah Jay Abbott, Brett Maharaj, Ryan Maharaj, Erin Mause, Adam Mause, and E'nyla Sims; and special cousin, Ernie Moore of Lexington, KY.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bee was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Brian D. Strawmyer and Alex Mause; and siblings, Kay Booher, Maxine Vaught, and Harold Miles.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, Dec. 22, for visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Bee will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
