Obituary

Beulah Maye Camplin, 102, of Noblesville, IN, passed away Dec. 5, 2019, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.

Beulah was born July 23, 1917, in Montgomery County, IN, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Gertha (Hubble) Burkett. She was married to Gene Everd Camplin. He passed away in 2000.

Beulah worked as a beautician for over 45 years. She was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Gene Brian (Judith) Camplin of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Gene Todd, Stephenie (Christopher) Anderson, and Melissa Suzanne (Christian) Kirkpatrick; great-granddaughter, Samantha Portia Anderson; grandson, John Stacy (Melissa) Camplin of Indianapolis; grandchildren by marriage, Ciera, Sydney, and Carla; and niece, Nancy Schell of Carmel. In addition to her parents and husband, Beulah was preceded in death by her son, John Bruce Camplin; four brothers; and five sisters.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service Sun., June 21, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery, Jamestown, IN. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon, has been entrusted with Beulah's arrangements.
