Mrs. Barbara L. Moore 83, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana.

She was born on August 4, 1941in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank Naas and Lula (Hornbuckle)

Naas.

Barbara met her husband, the love of her life, through her brother and they married on December 28, 1963 in Lebanon. She has worked as a receptionist for Mallory Contras in Frankfort, Indiana retiring in 2000.

She loved to do puzzles, crafts and could make anything she wanted with her sewing machine and boy, could she cook! Barbara loved spending time and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include; daughter, Karen (Bob) Taylor of Thorntown; Rodney (Christina) Moore of Thorntown; grandchildren, Chris, Bobby Taylor, Brayton, Briana, Megan, Stevie, Bobby Hale and Dustin; brother, Richard Naas of Garden Grove, CA; 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lula Naas; husband, Jack J. Moore, Jr.;

Brothers, Edward Naas and Clarence Naas; sister in-law Norma Naas and Barbara J. Naas.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, January 16, 2025 for visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, Lebanon, IN. Interment will follow at a later date.
